The Puerto Rico International Speedway (PRIS) was built to organize, support and promote motor racing on the island. The Puerto Rico Speedway consists of two circuit tracks of which one is 1.2 miles long and the other is 1.8 miles long. There are also two straight tracks: one is 1/4 miles and the other is 1/8 mile long.

The Lopez family started the corporation of the Puerto Rico International Speedway in 1985 allowing those wanting to take the motor racing sport further to achieve new heights. Drivers now have an opportunity to practice and use the facilities available at the Puerto Rico International Speedway. Hundreds of thousands of dollars are spent on the racetrack to keep it maintained and up-to-date with all the latest technology.

The Puerto Rico International Speedway, also known as “The track of salt mines”, can be found located in Salinas, Puerto Rico. The Puerto Rico International is one of the best Speedways in the whole of the United States of America. The raceway is used for a number of events that are hosted at the raceway throughout the year. The Puerto Rico International Speedway provides fans with facilities like cafeterias and sanitary facilities, including amenities for the disabled.

Races that have taken place at the Puerto Rico International Speedway before include the Super Street Money Hunters, The War of the Mechanics Old, Classic Acceleration, Cars, Hot Rod, Shell Helix Championship, Super Pro, Pro E.T., Baby Pro and the Junior Dragsters – and those are just a few examples!
